A storm of momentary mirrors

.

The streets are wholly empty of passerby; there's no one to watch the rain carry everything away and skim the city of its oily residue. No one but me.
...

Everything has become reflective; surfaces produce odd distortions as if grimacing at the folly of one who dares brave the outside world.
......

I move at the speed of transformation along with the insisitent current; it carries me to places I refused to know before.
...........

Concrete mirrors defy the progression of day and produce an artificial noon near sundown. Radioactive clouds assent and glow doubly with pleasure of Earth's longevity.
......

Images suggest themselves to me before dissipating — bubbling, they enjoy their precious seconds of being and snap back into fiery aether.
...

The musing of nature is continuous, smooth: a sage's slow walk. Yet mine lurches in shuffling steps now behind, now before the master. Rain teaches me pace and firm footing.
.

In pixels I scribe blurred curves and insect-eye foam; in place of a journal, these pictures will tell the story of a day I survived.

God, what a beautiful text, between the reflective and the poetic. You left the images in front of a mirror and from there we see ourselves reflected. Just yesterday I published a text that talks about how the streets have been left without a heartbeat. For the first time, the naked streets have shown their miseries, their daily waste, their continuous aridity. In every little bit of water, our gaze stagnates and expands as an echo in every wave. Sublime. Thank you for sharing. Greetings

His images are very eloquent, accompanied by those reflective fragments of great suggestion and attractive poetic expression. Apart from the presence of specularity in the photographic images themselves, I appreciate the reflexive relationship that exists with their texts and among themselves. The capture of those moments or places that can go unnoticed gives us an enriching experience. Thank you, @d-pend.

You can't say no one because you are one person. So you just enjoyed watching the rain alone hahaha.... Good shot of the rain splash and drops :)
