Sea coconut, which has multiple benefits

Black coconut in Aceh is better known as Teu" Tree or its fruit is called Teu fruit" but there are also some people call it African sea coconut, maybe the name is based on black fruit or drifting in carrying currents from the african sea.

I have no idea....


Coconut sea is a kind of palm tree. Its botanical name is Borassus flabellifera. Sea coconut is found in Aceh Sea coconut many grow wild areas of rice paddy fields and i forest.

The coconut tree actually has a high commercial value. Nira that can be obtained from this tree can be made of sugar or toffee. Tal leaf is widely used as a place of writing before the paper is created.

Sea coconut leaves can also be used for making fans, home roofs, mats, hats, bags and baskets.

The young coconut fruit mixed with certain substances is made into a drug if one has a large amount of it.

Throat fruit is destroyed and the fluid in out migrating is used to treat ulcers often used in Laos. Some parts of this tree can urinate in many countries, in Aceh people use the leaf portion as a Fisherman's hat.


Coconut sea up to 25-34 meters high. Its fan-shaped leaves are 7-10 meters wide and 4.5 meters wide, with a 4-meter long petiol. This tree is dioesius, the male tree and the female tree are separate. The male flowers are as pale, and one meters long.

The coconut was very useful for healthy. It's water can solve our dehidration and can prevent from malaria desease And it's tree can resolve of the shore abration, as we know that the sea was the most precious heritage for our next generation.
