Sci-Fi Novel, Origin Andromeda - Part 3 E.B.A.A.T!

Part 3, E.B.A.A.T

Henrik and Bjorn's feet moves as fast as they can with the man getting closer and closer to them, they reach the emergency exit and the fire staircase, kicks it open and rushes down at full speed without looking back.
It's sunny outside, it's still early morning, on a normal day Henrik would be outside on a bench and enjoying the summer sun while drinking a second cup of coffee at around this time, but this isn't such a day.

They run all the way to the ground, when they take their last step on the staircase, Henrik, with his body filled with adrenaline dares to look up and what he sees surprises him, the man that chased them is for some reason not behind them anymore.
"maybe it's a trap...maybe they have us surrounded?..." he quickly shrougs of the thought as he feels Bjorn's arm pulling him forward, and they continue to run.

They run past Henriks car, which is parked in front of his office.
"It doesn't look like anyone has been inside it, tampered with it and put a tracker on it...but I don't even know how that would look like anyway...so...best to take Bjorn's car"

After a few hundred meters they cross the street and continue behind a corner of a different building, suddenly they can hear footsteps coming after them.
"They must be gaining in on us!" Henrik shouts with a voice that is both nervous and exhilarated at the same time.

"Faster! we can't allow them to catch us!"
Bjorn answers while he simultaneously picks up an egg-shaped object that he, with a smooth movement rotates around itself like an egg-clock, before he throws it on the ground.
"Quick! run through the bushes over there...the object I threw will soon flood the nearby area with a strong knockout gas that will stop anyone who runs through it”.

They swiftly make their way through the bushes and closer to Bjorn's car, he has hidden it just behind a tiny concrete building, a dull and very uninspiringly grey electric substation with black airvents, that nobody ever notices.

When they reach the car Bjorn says.
"I believe that we have managed to shake of the men from E.B.A.A.T, hopefully our escape will be smooth from now on"
Both Henrik and Bjorn rapidly opens the doors to the car and gets in.
Bjorn continues.
"It looks like we're getting away this time, for a while there I thought it was over for us, they are known to have backup plans, but they weren't really prepared for this, for you".

They drive away, trying to take narrow streets until they feel secure.
"It's not the first time I'm running from E.B.A.A.T my friend, it has happened a few times during my life, I'm surprised that it was so easy to shake them of, they can’t have been more than a small group this time "
With a confused, stressed and tired voice from the run, Henrik answers.
"EBAAT??...who are they? Why are they chasing us and what do they want us? "
Bjorn smiles and reassuringly answers.
"European Bureau Against Alien Threats, but you will get answers to all of your questions later, I promise, let's rest for a while now, this is the beginning of your life, Henrik, your real life ..."

Henrik doesn't notice, but a short pulse of gas has been sprayed directly into his nostrils with great precision, his head feels unimaginably heavy, and before his conciousness falls into darkness he manages to slur out.
"... My real life? ... what...do you...mean?"

Going to release this novel on steemit, in parts with a few days between each part, need to work on translating the next part before i post it.
been writing on it for a few years but never getting it out before, originally written in Swedish.
