DISASTER
DISASTER
on a Sunday morning. at the end of the week in December precisely in 2004. I was awakened by the wobble that is in my bed. I thought there was a friend who wiggled it.
apparently not. I just heard the roar of my roommate shouting that the current earthquake. and we panicked out of our room simultaneously regardless of things
Other, I was outside without wearing a shirt and only pants were attached to my body. and I looked around the place where I was a lot of people who were gathered outside and in conditions
the same one. I can not stand to stand by such an enormous wobble, even though I am on land, but it is like being over a sea full of waves.
the building where I live wriggled like a bamboo tree in the wind. I was afraid to see the conditions that occurred at the time.
this is a bit of my story when the 2004 tsunami hit the region of Indonesia precisely in the region of Sumatra. the epicenter was in the province of Aceh and caused a lot of casualties.
anyone who has experienced it directly may have its own story. this is one of the worst disasters ever experienced by humans in the modern era at this time and takes a huge loss of life and material loss. I just hope this is the worst thing-
which I have faced in my life. I do not want to experience it again. just just this once.
Disaster is something we want to avoid. but do you know what is the definition of disaster. Disaster is an event or series of events that threaten and disrupt people's lives and livelihoods caused by both natural and / or non-natural factors as well as human-
resulting in the occurrence of human casualties, environmental damage, loss of property, and psychological impact. Disasters can also be interpreted as a serious disruption to the functioning of a society, thus causing widespread harm to life-
human beings from a material, economic or environmental perspective and beyond the ability of the peoples concerned to cope with the use of their own resources.
DANGER.
Danger is a condition, both natural and man-made, which has the potential to cause damage or loss and loss of the human soul. Hazards are potentially catastrophic, but not all dangers are always a disaster.
Not every danger resulted in an accident. But accidents happen because there is danger, whether it be:
- unsafe behavior (unsafe act)
