Hello to the world of steemit, I might not be the only person who did this but at least I know there are still many out there who tried this act and never gained anything.

What is plagiarism?

This is the act of coping someone's work (copy and paste). This tends to be where you stole what someone wrote, the passionate feelings being written by another person, the way the person expresses his/her work in a sound and good matter and you being the plagiariser stole what the person has written down and try to please your self with it. In most cases most people see plagiarism as fun to them and I will give you guys more point about this.

Causes of plagiarism

Not capable of writing your own work

Sometimes you might not know what to write and you always thinking of what to do about it but this happens in most case whereby people are down to earth thinking of what to write but the idea and style isn't coming so you look to the Internet and plagiarise another person's work.

Sometimes low level education
Some people, some where in Nigeria and other people can't actually write but that doesn't give you the right to plagiarise another persons work, I know you might not be fully capable of your education support but keep trying - everything is gonna be okay.

Being too lazy to write
This has been a rampant behaviour among everybody in the hood of the article writers, some of them who don't have time and when they are free to write good posts they won't write and that's the lazy attitude being stamped into your mind.

Why is plagiarism bad?

It is stealing
You can ruin your self and your reputation by stealing another person's ideal, technique and style of writing.

Taking chances of someone else
This plagiarism is a chaos to me now cause when I tried it I couldn't bear to stand on my words from it and I was totally depressed and down.

A child sitting with someone of good grades and that child really doesn't know know what he his doing, that child might plagiarise his partner's work, which is bad ⛔

How to avoid plagiarism

• Check out the rules and regulations regarding copyright
• Learn how to rephrase but do not copy from the person's work not even a word if his
• Learn how to cite sources
• Review whatever you want to do to make good work.
• Referencing your sources

And lastly...

To all the plagiarisers

Never look to anybody else's work 'cause you've got your own perfection and knowledge because its your gift. Things come in good when you give out good and especially when you write something that is yours you would be proud this really came from you. Words expressed by yourself and making the potentials in you speak you can do things on your own. It might not be your fault that you plagiarised another person's content, but try to come up with something yourself, and you may be surprised - your work might be the best ever.
