Next to Metal Fever this is my favorite story of yours. I remember the first time I read it and was exposed to your particular way of writing psychological terror and incongruity, and I was blown away. You have a gift, man :D
Have you considered hopping on PALnet's Discord and poking around Fiction Workshop? You have a real shot at getting this work published if you want to go down that road.
I don't know what any of those things you mentioned are, tbh. I have Discord. What is the fiction workshop? How does that lead to publication?
PALnet is a Discord server that hosts the Minnow Support Project. The Fiction Workshop is one of the groups on that server. As for how it leads to publication, we have two professional editors in the Workshop that can help you through the process. One of them, Carol, is an editor for the Perihelion Science Fiction Magazine. One of the pieces I wrote for here caught her eye and is now in the running to be a published piece for their September issue.
There's a wealth of experience you can draw from if you wanted to self-publish, as well. We also offer proofing and editing as a free service.
