Short story: I'm leaving

Weeks ago I participated in a contest in which from an image you have to be inspired to give it a title and write what the story is about; Today I wanted to share that short story that I wrote.

I'm leaving

This is the story of Amanda, a 27-year-old woman who, after many years of mistreatment by her husband, has decided to flee the house in the middle of the night looking for a better future in a distant place; After two years of mistreatment with that man, she looked in the mirror one day, seeing the woman she had become, thinking that she did not want to continue to endure that, looking like this, she missed the woman who was formerly smiling, smiling, happy with her professional and personal life.

At the same time, Amanda wondered at what moment she had lost all that and how she could bear to be treated that way. With the man who was before he was very happy, I really love him but after so much physical and emotional abuse he was no longer happy with that man, all that love he had for him was destroyed with each insult, with each blow. So not being able to bear any more abuse, determined that she did not deserve that and, once again appreciating herself, she decided to leave, she only took a few things and started walking in the middle of the night without knowing where she would go ... hours passed and finally dawn, she did not look back just ahead looking at the beautiful day, the beginning of her new life.
