WWE star Jeff Hardy arrested for public intoxication

It should come as no shock to long time wrestling fans, Jeff Hardy has had a hard go with drugs and alcohol in his long career, but this weekend he's had yet another run in with police in Myrtle Beach, SC.

Police said they received a report of an intoxicated person in Myrtle Beach about 11 a.m. Shortly after, authorities arrested Hardy without incident and charged him with public intoxication. He later posted a $153 bond and was released. According to WBTV, "The 41-year-old, half of the wrestling duo Hardy Boyz, pleaded guilty last year to drunk driving in North Carolina. He was mandated to 48 hours of community service and alcohol counseling, in addition to paying a $300 fine and turning over his license"

The WWE Released a statement saying, "Jeff Hardy is responsible for his own actions" Hopefully, this won't keep him from returning. Hardy injured his knee last year, and was expected to return in 6 to 9 months.
