In the last few years AI has come full circle, from ChatGPT to various image generators to now video generators. The world is changing fast. It all started with ChatGPT, this is a text generator that makes google looks like child’s play. Most of student in colleges have found a short cut to doing their assignment. It has revotionalize the education system that even teachers are now worried
In the world of text generator ChatGPT is king since it’s the dominant of all of them and it’s the first one. But there are other that are making an impact. This include deep AI, Zapier, Gemini, Copilot, Grammarly just to mention . this can write anything as long as you give a good prompt command, I know one guy who even wrote a book and a movie using AI. Its not the best but it show what potential it has and how far it can go

Image generators are another way AI has grown, I remember the first time I used Dall-E and I thought, wow this is interesting . this was my first interaction with image generators, then I discovered Midjourney, stable diffusion and Leonardo.ai and my world was blown. I can generate any image that my mind can fathom and using the right prompts I can get anything. And the images have gotten better that its hard to differentiate AI image from real life images. The designers are scared of loosing their jobs since its generating better and beautiful designs. Image generation is also dangerous due to many copyright infringements and deep fake that look very real.

Voice Ai is also growing, there is txt to voice generators where you just feed a text to the AI and it generate a voice of what’s written. Ellen labs has been a big engineer in this. And it give you several voices to work with. You can even customize your voice for the AI and it work every time you give it text. The challenge is that you can record someone voice and upload it as if its you and create a deep fake . people have also been creating music. this AI and copying on a famous artist voice and releasing as if its that artist and very few people can sport the difference. We are living in interesting time

Video generators is the other area that AI is really trying to get in, recently OpenAI released a beta version of a video generator and boy it was scary. In video has a lite version of this and it will grow with time. AI has potential and it’s a too that can work to make things better. The flip side is that it can also be dangerous. If not well regulated. We have seen a lot of deep fakes from politician to singers to innocent people been used and it has had devastating effect. I love the progress but am also skeptical of its misuse
