Russia's national team managed to win 3-1 over the Egyptian national team in the 2018 World Cup Group A preliminary match at the St Petersburg Stadium on Tuesday (19/06/2018) or Wednesday morning GMT.

The Russian goal was scored through Ahmed Fathi's own goal in the 47th minute, Denis Cheryshev (59 '), and Artem Dzyuba (62'). While the Egyptian goal was scored by Mohamed Salah through a penalty execution (73 ').
