Cloud computing gives student easy access to lesson plans
,
Easy access labs, grades, notes, PowerPoint slides just about anything digital. Teachers can easily upload and share with their students. Students have access to these materials at anytime and anywhere as long as the have access to the internet. They never again have to worry about losing a single, crucial piece of paper.
Collaboration
Cloud computing makes collaboration easier with students and colleagues. It removes physical barriers, which makes collaboration easier. Teachers can work with teachers in other educational institutions and in other countries, to create the best experience for your students. Working on group or class projects becomes much easier with cloud storage, as students can upload and combine resources in a single cloud storage repository.
Security
Teachers save most of their materials and lesson plans on their computer or have it in hard copy form. Most of the time the materials aren’t backed up, or lost or damaged. With cloud computing, you don’t have to worry about data loss, because everything will be backed up with your cloud storage provider. And you don’t need to worry about someone getting access to sensitive information, as people will need a username and password to get access to the whole cloud backup service. You can also set passwords for individual folders or place restrictions on what people can do with the contents for additional security.
Teaching / Learning Tools
With gadgets like tablets and connected classrooms a teacher has the ability to easily show presentations, videos, play music, and inspire students in an interactive way.
Class Homework
Using the Cloud to provide and collect homework can save a teacher time. When providing homework, a teacher can simply upload it to the Cloud and let their students know where to access it. A teacher can also set up a folder for students to drop their completed assignments into the Cloud.
