Dissident Brigadier: Russia and Hezbollah stockpile lion chemist
Syria's former chemical weapons chief Zaher al-Saket accused Russia and Hezbollah of involvement in the transfer and storage of chemical weapons in cooperation with Bashar Assad's regime, saying "there is ongoing work to obliterate the evidence of the recent attack in Douma."
"Russia is keen not to reveal any evidence condemning the Assad regime, because it will be proof of its conviction as well," Saket, the former head of the chemical branch of the fifth division of the Syrian army, told Al-Jazeera Net.
"Russia has overseen keeping Assad's chemical weapons stockpiles and helping to manufacture other elements," said the brigadier who broke away from the Syrian regime in early 2013.
