Facebook adopts new strategy to fight fake news...

Mark Zuckerberg rolls up his sleeves and deploys a new feature to fight the fake news:

From July 17, all Facebook pages will no longer have the right to change the title, cap and illustration of an article they wish to share.
This "little lapse" has long deceived Internet users. Indeed, they often expected to read an information and found themselves with another that had nothing to do with the shared one. Although the content remains the same, owners of Facebook pages had the ability to change the title, hat and artwork of the article.
"By eliminating the possibility of modifying metadata (such as title, description and image) of a link on all sharing entry points on Facebook, we eliminate a channel that was used to post Information false, "reads an official note of the giant social networks.

As a reminder, the social network that has just crossed the 2 billion mark has set up last week an effective strategy to eradicate the extremist content of its news.
