Diversity in National Traditional Outfits and Dresses

Initially, I wanted to write about diversity and how experiencing traveling to different countries and meeting foreigners influenced me to grow buuuuuut as soon as I found some of the photos I lost focus a bit and now writing a bit about my love to all the traditional cultural outfits and my love to dresses in general :D

When I was growing up, I was not paying much attention to the normal girl things like dolls and dresses, I believe my dad being a single parent influenced this for sure and I don’t think it is a bad or a good thing, just how it is and it is fine.

So when I went to uni at the age of 18 I started living with another four very girlish roommates, who in the third month of our college life made a “new” Elvira.
Well not new, but the one started who enjoying dresses and hills.

Sweet graduation times, thank god you happened!

The thing is that I started seeing the actual beauty that not only the person gets, but the outfits as well.

Let me explain myself, yes, of course, the outfit has a made up style, an idea behind, but who said there can be just one idea. Two people look very different in the same outfit because we have different energy and different “messages” to the things we wear, we have.

Therefore when my roommates helped me to experiment with different styles, I discovered I actually enjoy just seeing the difference in me, when I wear different clothes.

Especially I discovered I love trying on traditional dresses of different nations

It makes me feel and know more of the nationality in who’s clothes I am in, therefore whenever there is a chance to dress up certain traditional outfit, I try using it
