Skinny fat continued
Now let me do something different here. I’m going to play devil advocate with myself on the four tips I just gave you.
Knowledge: You can learn everything about the gym. How to grow muscle and burn fat. How to get in better aerobic and anaerobic strength. Learn the right nutrition and supplements to grow and get that 100% bang for the buck out of the gym. How to elongate the muscles and rest the body. All of that is great. It’s like going to school to be a lawyer and going through all the test’s and everything, but failing the bar… Therefore you can’t practice what you’ve learned, therefore it’s all for nothing. You can learn everything, but if you don’t go to the gym and apply it, you won’t see any results.
Exercise: For some reason, people think, (who’re 20, and 30, and 40 years old) even though they know their bodies have molded into that form for that many years… They think just because they go to the gym for a month, they’re going to transform all that. They think one month of work will transform 30 years of bad habits. If it was that easy, we would all be shredded. People’s clay (body) have been sitting on the shelf, cold and hard for years. When they go to mold the clay, they get it wet, it’s still hard. It’s not going to want to be molded easily. You must apply consistent effort, then BOOM! The clay starts to become warm and starts to move and take shape. That’s your body going to the gym week after week.
Strategic Fasting: People hear of fasting and think of it as some new fad. Fasting has been around since the dawn of man! It’s not a fad, and it’s not going anywhere. If you want to try fasting, you must be prepared to do it right! I couldn’t fast if I didn’t do everything right, it would be too hard. People try it for a week and think: “Man, it’s too hard!”
-I asked: “Did you take your omega 3’s?”
“Well, I did Monday and Tuesday.”
-”Did you drink 3-5 liters of water a day?”
“Well, I did half the week.”
-”How do you expect to get to your destination(your desired body) when you’re taking detours(leaving out steps) that are slowing your progress and eating up your gas(energy)?”
