Working Hard
Overworking is a condition in which a person works beyond their normal time limits and capabilities, often sacrificing physical and mental health. Overworking can cause various health problems such as chronic fatigue, sleep disorders, high blood pressure, heart problems, and disorders of the immune system. Working too much often leads to stress, anxiety, and depression. A disturbed work-life balance can worsen this condition. Although it may seem productive at first, overworking can actually reduce long-term productivity. Excessive fatigue and stress can reduce concentration, creativity, and decision-making abilities. Spending too much time at work can sacrifice time with family and friends, which can ultimately damage social relationships and lead to feelings of loneliness. Overworking can reduce time for enjoyable activities and relaxation, thus reducing overall quality of life. Talk to your boss or coworkers if your workload is too heavy. Getting support and sharing tasks can help lighten the load. That way, you can reduce the risk of overworking and maintain a balance between your professional and personal life.
