RE: Under Pressure! Managing Deadlines and Work When You're Mostly a Creative Slacker
Enjoyed this and yes, procrastination is real - at least in my life it is. I like to think I'm ambitious, most people think I am, but the reality is I really don't want to bust my butt all the time.
Ambitiously lazy, as I like to say. Work hard for a short while to setup something that will pay dividends for an extended period. That's what keep me motivated...that thought of getting to be lazy.
"Ambitiously lazy." I like that. One of the reasons I always liked the idea of writing was "residual income." I liked the idea of working hard to complete and publish a book... and then hopefully have an income stream for some months or years after that... especially writing in non-fiction, as I do.
Exactly, residual income. It's why I wrote my ScaredyCatGuide Rental Property Investing book (which needs to sell more on amazon...lol) and why I own rental properties.
Gotta get to that autopilot position!
