"Words Are All I Have"

“It's only words and words are all I have to take your heart away”: funny,
Words are powerful things, even though they are only vibrations in the
Air, that tickle your eardrum, then generate a nerve signal to your
Brain, at which point YOU assign those vibrations meaning, so
Who then is responsible for what effect those words have on
You? Is it the lips that uttered the sound or the hands that
Wrote the words? I think not, YOU are the one who
Gave the words the meaning that has affected
You
, so YOU are responsible for your actions
AND your REactions. THINK before you
Act, and realize that the words can
Only have the power over you
That you allow them to have.

Synchronicity is an odd and serendipitous thing.
I chose this writing this morning to post; it has been sitting
Here open on my computer...waiting. Then my friend Jesse
@montanacellist posted about being unfriended on FB, because
Of something he said...words. Vibrations in the air that the OTHER
Person assigned value to which to him was offensive, and he blamed
Jesse for the value which HE HAD ASSIGNED.
It is such a pity that we cannot understand this, that we don't
SEE that words are ONLY SOUNDS.
YOU give those sounds meaning, and if you don't
Like what you hear, IT IS YOUR DUTY TO ASSIGN A
NEW MEANING, because the offensive part is
IN YOUR OWN HEAD
