Check out this small list I put together to help sort out the best places to download premium WordPress themes , some of the places you might know and others you may not.

These places are where web designers and developers (not all) buy themes if they want to save time and money and charge a high premium, so you will be saving $$$$ and ££££!

As a web developer I've used some of them in the past so I guess I'm letting you in on some trade secrects...oh no! I now mainly build websites from scratch using a PHP framework called Symfony and CREATE WordPress Plugins and Themes.

There are LOTS of places to get WordPress themes and this list is my honest recommendation to help you through the jungle of themes.

So here's the list:

I can vouch for Beaver Builder (which is a plugin, not a theme). It's a great tool (even more if paired with Beaver Themer) that can speed up your work.

I'm a developer and I'm totally not against page builders, they are extremely useful if the website doesn't have any "special" feature.

Beaver Builder is well optimized and produces a decent code for your average projects.

Beaver Builder is great. I hope to use it for years to come. Actually they have a plugin, that's for pagebuilding, then a theme, which is perfect for using the plugin on, and a themer that makes the whole package a true theme builder. Before, changing things like the blog layout, the archive layout, the header and the footer, was difficult. It's a breeze now. A joy to work with. Fast, stable, easy.

It is a bit expensive, yes, but I'm glad to pay for it, so that the developers can continue to work on it. I've been using Artisteer, then Headwaythemes, and they are gone now. That's a lot of wasted time on a learning curve for nothing.
