Nagoya Women's Marathon 2018
Thanks to the photographer from HK
Nagoya Women's Marathon 2018 was held on 11th Mar, 2018. It was my second full marathon. My first attempt was the Hong Kong Marathon, which was held exactly 7 weeks before this event, and my net time was 04:33:34. However, I was lack of training and had gained 10 pounds during this period. So I had decided to take my time for the race.
On the D day, I woke up and got ready not especially early. (for the HKM, the race start time was unreasonably early) I had a very full breakfast, with lot of carbohydrates.

Getting ready in the hostel
I was distributed to the N zone at the starting point, which was the very last zone. I thought it was because I didn't have any full marathon experience when I applied for the race. It was a windy and cool morning and I wasn't with any windbreaker.
Nagoya Dome was the starting point
Many runners were getting ready at zone N
The race started at 09:10, it took me almost 25 mins to reach the starting point. I felt I was sick. Luckily, the orchestra at the starting point had created a very nice atmosphere and I was awaken. Many pedestrians were cheering at the side.

It was known to be the easiest marathon route but I finished it an hour more than my previous record. I was still very happy to have finished it.
Me very happy at the finishing point
Last but not least, Nagoya Women's Marathon race was also famous for the Tiffany finishing necklace, which is presented by the men in tuxedo at the finishing gate.
Wow, amazing pictures and explanation of your marathon experience. It sounds like it really makes you smile.
