Happy International Women's Day
A lot of action happens around this day, though I do not believe that women's day should be celebrated on just one particular day. But still it feels good to have a special day for us women. And to be practical every day we cannot even keep celebrating else there will be no significance or importance left.
In today's time globally women have risen up but still not all women are at same stature in the society, some still live under strong influence of male dominant societies and that will take some time to change. Unless a women herself does not value her existence, then no one else is going to do that for her. Change is happening, in some places on a fast pace and in some on slow pace. Today's women is very versatile, she manages her personal and professional life maintaining a balance between the two and if there is a need to sacrifice her ambitions she will not shy away even to do that and that's the strength of a women. She can build on her dreams and she can even sacrifice on them for the greater good of her family. I wonder how many man would do that for their families.
This is a wonderful depiction of a women at one of the art's festival where she is shown in her versatile roles that she is playing in today's society.
The best part of being a women is that she can create life within her, which is the most wonderful feeling in the world. She gives birth to a new life, God has chosen her as a medium to bring a soul into physical existence, how beautiful is that. Carrying a baby in her womb, sacrificing her own body to bring another one into existence, all of this needs lot of strength and courage, which she does it so joyfully. And then the society says that the women are a weaker sex, I fail to understand on what basis they assume this.
A man is also playing his own part in the society, it is with both of them that the society gets completed, so personally I believe that no one is superior or inferior because without each one of them the other will be incomplete.
I feel so blessed to be a women, I would want to be a women in all my future incarnations, if there are. In my family women are in majority and all of them are empowered in their lives which makes me feel very proud.
The grace and beauty of femineity brings so much elegance to life. I believe that where there is women there is magic. She is the definition of strength , grace and perseverance. To empower her is to empower the society. All she needs is love and respect.
