WOMEN ARE SIGNIFICANT BEINGS ON EARTH!!

While growing up, I used to think that I had a very broad knowledge of what being a woman was all about. I'd thought being a woman was all about growing up, going to school and after school, get a good job and get married. Yes, I might have been right as these are some little fraction of what a woman really is; although even among the women folks, many still have different perspective on their womanhood. And so as I grew much older and wiser I kept asking myself: what does it really mean to be a woman?

Being a woman in the first place is being human and identifying the complications that comes with all of that, but still being a woman goes beyond biology. To me women are very strong being. It might not be the physical strength a man possess but a woman sure possesses strength of the mind. When she grows older, she leaves the comfort of her parents and family and moves in with a man(husband)possibly with his family and begins to learn about him and "his", changing her home in the process. She goes further to drop a name she has been bearing all her life till she met the said man. She suddenly accepts and answers his name in exchange or addition to hers. She helps the man build a home from the scratch to a standard home and gets pregnant for the man. The pregnancy changes her body at this point as she gains weight.

She bears the burden of Carrying another human for 9months and when it's time to give birth, she goes through unbearable pains of child birth. After going through all the stress of carrying and delivering, the child still bears the name of the man.

And while she lives with the man, she cooks, cleans the house, takes care of the man's parents if need be, brings up the children, advices the man when necessary, helps the man relief stress after a hectic day at work, maintains good family relationship among members of the man's family and her's. Some women still work and yet put up with all these. Sad enough sometimes, they are done at the expense of their health, beauty and hobbies.

Women should be appreciated because being a woman does not come easy. Every single woman on earth deserves to be cherished and treated well. Just take out a few minutes of your time to think of how the world would have looked like without women around. Even God knew the importance of women that was why He created one.

Rock the world ladies because women are precious. Happy women's day in advance to all the women all over the world.
