My Witness and projects update.
My Witness Server: ZERO Missed Block
- Running a very stable server using less than 5% CPU and 50% Memory utilization, enough to hold more processing blocks and to support future growth of STEEM blockchain.
- Upgraded the memory to 32GB, and ready to scale up to 48GB or 64GB if needed. Currently the memory usage is 16.2GB.
- The witness server is running v0.19.2, latest released.
- Price Feed Update every hour.
- 80GB disk space usage out of 300GB in SDD, plenty of room to grow.
- UPTIME after security patch update: 22:07:47 up 7 days, 5:27, 1 user, load average: 0.01, 0.04, 0.00.
- ZERO Missed Block. We have reason to celebrate and shout Yehey!

My Witness Projects
- Seed server (seed.yehey.org:2001) is almost ready to serve the STEEM blockchain completing firewall setup. Host Firewall is configured, Network Firewall still testing policy to provide second layer of security.
- Condensers front-end servers for https://Yehey.org with Long Balancer and GEO routing to serve steem users around the world. I actually use this project to learn React JS front-end development.
- New User Account Registration page. Testing still in progress ...
- Security Update: Servers are scheduled every 2 weeks to install security patch/upgrade to keep it healthy and secure.
- Testing and transitioning Games using blockchain. This will create free marketing and exposures of steem blockchain.
Being a Witness
As investors to our community, I spent a lot of $$$ every month to keep our servers secure, up and running e.g. Witness Servers, Seed, Condensers, Load Balancer, and other services.
In the next few months, as STEEM community continue to grow the requirements to maintain a servers will be higher, need more memory and of course faster servers. So, if you're considering to be a Witness make sure you have the technical know how or capital to pay an expert to manage your servers and long term plans. Anyway, it will be an interesting ride in our community.
Though we need more investors, merchants, credit/financial company and banks to help us move to the next level. Let's continue to advertise and promote STEEM blockchain. It's fast, 3 seconds confirmation and no transactions fees.
