As a response to the proposal, @bukio is obliged to express our opinion on the issue.

We fully support the fork that would ensure the security of the chain and we believe it is the right first step before executing additional measures in the future.

Our node will be updated to this version in no time.

And what would "additional measures in the future" be? Censoring more accounts on the blockchain layer?

This is insane. Steem is no longer a blockchain. It's centrally controlled by those who are "obligated" to do whatever Justin Sun says.

would you please help me understand how freezing steem users funds helps to ensure the security of the chain? what was the real threat to the security?

What will be additional measures? how can i know that my steem is safe on the chain?
