We have noticed lately that some witnesses provided non-jussi steem nodes for the community to use, the thing is, there is currently no available tool that would test these nodes unless jussi is being used. Thus, we have decided to upgrade our nodes testing tool on Ecosynthesizer to provide additional information such as if the node is using jussi or not, HTTPS, and the ability to test pure steemd nodes.
As usual, the added data can also be recovered via available APIs.
A small fix was pushed as well for the proposals page where the fetching votes feature was showing duplicate and inconsistent entries, special thanks to @ilnegro for reporting the bug. But there is still another issue that we are still investigating which is related to the API returning incorrect total_votes data for some proposals.
P.S: More than a week ago, the account @steemnodes in his aim to garner support from the @upvu proxy, has set several fake API nodes by using jussi to funnel the requests to other nodes. Thus, we hereby reserve the right to remove any nodes that we deem malicious, fake, or operated by untrusted actors.
