@steemcreative Witness: Week In Review

It's been a busy week for @steemcreative, the witness run by @swelker101 and @isaria.

Education

Shane started the week by starting his education in coding JavaScript (and Python) and released three posts of his notes:

Intro To Displays

He also picked up a nice Humble Bundle pack of coding books for various languages, including Python. This is part of the commitment to self-improvement but also having a better understanding of the Hard Fork code to be able to effectivley test any new changes that may be offered from Steem Inc.

Announcements

We then released our post on what our current goals are for the witness and the platform.

Next week we will be working on the contest announced in that post as well as setting up the Discord server.

Project Support

We were beyond happy to see @elarca reward their first weekly winners from their new Harmony Contest
We sponsor 10 Steem per week to fund this and the wonderful talent that resides on this platform.

We also made our Friday Contributions

Shane sent Steem to @adollaraday instead of SBD, but that was recified fairly quickly.

@isaria Collected a number of posts from our Minnow University Curation Show and will be giving the updoots to them shortly.

Tonight We have our Steem Creative Curation Show with more curation happening. Make sure to check the link for ways to get your work featured on the show. Shane already has his bad-singing music trivia ready for the audience to be puzzled by what the hell it is.

Wrap-Up

We do all of this while each working full-time jobs. How do we do it? Well, the secret is we don't get out much. But that's perfectly okay. Steem is our passion, we love doing this, and we detest the Austin, TX traffic. It's win-win!
