NOBLEWITNESS UPDATE - 11 August 2018
We apologize for taking such a long hiatus from updating you all on our server status! You'll be happy to know that everything is still running smoothly. Thank you again to everyone voting for us. We'll continue to earn your votes!
Server Status
Both our servers are operating flawlessly. We updated to 19.6 when it was released, which fixed a bug that caused witness nodes to produce blocks that were too large for the blockchain. Unlike the transition to 19.5, we didn't need to replay, so we didn't miss a beat. There was a bit of a shake up with witness rankings recently, with @booster moving some votes around. For a while we got a big bump up, so thank you very much @fyrstikken! As it stands right now, we are at rank 68 (66 out of active witnesses).
Current and Future Projects
The Writers' Block - Recently, The Writers' Block account made a post about the plan in place to incorporate the three parts of their operation into a single package. If you haven't had a chance yet, check it out, but the long and short of it is that they are developing three different ways to pull in writers, help build on their talent, and publish both to Steemit and through traditional publishing methods. The reason we're so excited? It's going to expose a whole host of new people to Steem and Steemit, while also providing the means for all the talent here on Steemit to expand their success. Their front-end is going to be unveiled in Toronto at the The Steem Creators Conference and SMT Summit, so be sure to keep your eyes out for updates!
