RE: Meet Our Witnesses - @netuoso

in #witness-category7 years ago (edited)

I am not at the phase to comment anything on the work of the witness. But, I see that you've brought into @berniesanders here into your conversation which attracted me. Reading his post, I see his work as rather contributing to the system than degrading. As you play that part of interconnecting the witnesses with the whales and post the conversation, I would love to read of the destruction that at times is rampant in the system here with whales fighting with one another and what witnesses think about the same. I am not sure if witnesses as contributors hold any powerful position to review the FIGHTING of the whales and taking necessary actions but if in case, they as a collective team, hold the power to negotiate, I think they should do that immediately. That's because, when we see whales fighting over power distribution or over proper allotment of the PER DAY Steem, it scares the newcomers that they might just be flagged or put to risk of commenting or writing a post of any kind (be it good or bad)

Thank you @jasonshick for the the interview. I await in anticipation to read more of the witnesses stories.

Do some research on some of the top witnesses here and it will help you understand a bit more about everything that goes on and why people like @berniesanders are so passionate. We do have our disagreements in approach but I do think our intentions are aligned, we just need to come up with a better way to achieve these goals. Go check out a recent post by @mikepm74, where he breaks down how the reward pool works. It is a great read if you have questions about how rewards are given out.

Thank you for the supplementary article, bro!
