Hi @epico, Did you know we now have Bandwidth/Traffic saver feature?

You can go to Settings page and disable Fetch images and app will save mobile data. It will not download post images when you open any post, you can manually tap on image to download it. It should save a lot of your traffic and gives you possibility to save your data usage. Check it out and let me know how it works...
