Witchcraft 101: Magic Is An AID Not An END ALL
When you begin your journey into witchcraft/Wicca, you want to start small. Don't head straight for the weight loss, the “get rich” spell, and especially DON’T do love spells.
You want to start with smaller ideas such as...
- Find loose change often:
It seems trivial at first, but here is the point of starting small. When you want to manifest money, you have to get into the mindset that money shows up for you. Frequently finding loose change means you’re ATTRACTING money. After you’ve started to feel your luck moving forward you can go on to the next step and ask for something bigger.
OTHER START-SMALL IDEAS:
- better sleep at night
- free, prime parking spots at all times
Another important thing to know is that you shouldn’t perform a spell to achieve a goal that you haven’t already tried to reach WITHOUT using magic. For example, let’s say you want healthier, clearer skin. Have you tried eating different foods and drinking more water first?
Always do what you can before going straight for your Spell book! 🧙🏻♀️
As witches we can get caught up in a world of fantasy. I believe the real magic in life is seeing the beauty in everything around you as it is - in it’s true form.
To me, spells are a tool NOT a be-all-end-all in getting what I want.
Like a prayer sends your wishes and dreams to God, a spell sends your wishes and dreams out into the Universe.
Let me know in the comments some simple spells you’ve performed that have been successful OR just something you have manifested through concentration, prayer or whatever it is that works for you :)
I would love to hear about your experiences!

Reminds me of the Dark One in Once Upon a Time as they talk about differences between light and dark magic and about how we should maybe try to do things without magic if we can first similar to what you are saying here. Love the finding money part. I'm really into health.
