Drawing process of the super girl

i thought i would bring some dark vibe into it, but the i don't think i am going to draw any background for this drawing.
and if i don't draw any background then its really hard to convey the idea of a scenario with day time or night time.
so normally i choose a kind of dark orange color for this kind of skin tone when i want to paint a bit darker colors, places that are not directly hit by the light, but also not dark completely.
did you know as much as dark the mask is seeming right now, if i were to add a darker background that dark color would look much lighter...
thats so weird how colors work
