Round 4 of Season 5 of my WILD & STRANGE Contest has officially ended! It’s time to grab the mic and rock it for a chance to win some STEEM! The grand prize for this round will be 50 STEEM. Who in?

Contest Progression Thus Far

In Round 1, @liberty-minded won the photo contest with this entry! It was his winning photo that provided the inspiration for the artwork in Round 2, which had many excellent entries. Eventually, I had to call this one the winner.

This winning artwork from @fubar-bdhr was the base for the MEME contest in Round 3. Round 3 also was an incredible round with many excellent entries submitted.

This winning meme from @skycamper was created from the artwork and served as the base inspiration of our poetry round, which will fuel our song contest... but which poem won?

So, what poem from Round 4 will we have to make a song for Round 5?

The hungry hungry elephant went to search for some lunch
He had a taste for a peanut because he liked the tasty crunch

He went to the store and they were all sold out
This made the elephant almost give up and pout

But instead, the elephant persisted to look
He didn't let that delay keep him shook

Up and down the jungle the elephant searched with his herd
They STILL couldn't find one so they asked the black bird

The black bird said he'd search only for a price
The elephant said "I'll just go ask the mice"

Though the elephant had a deep deep fear of the mouse
For the love of peanuts, he went to his tiny house

The mouse said "Come in!" even though they hadn't met before
The elephant squeeeezed in - he barely fit through the door!

The elephant was uncomfortable so he hurried to ask the question
He even explained to the mouse about his weird peanut obsession

The mouse told the elephant to search by the shore
So the elephant left the house - nearly breaking the door

He went by the shore and saw a peanut a-float
The elephant only wished that he could use a boat

The elephant couldn't swim but he tried anyway
To the bottom of the ocean he sank, and woke he up at bay

He went into he pocket and came to the funny circumstance
All along he had a nut in the pocket of his pants

Honestly, I love running contests but hate picking only one winner Sometimes, you just have to do it though. This was the absolute hardest contest that I can ever remember judging. Eventually, I narrowed it down to @majorleaguemarc. CONGRATS! The 50 STEEM from last round is yours!

A big thanks to everyone who entered last round. That was a fantastic bunch of poetry to sort through!
