Bondla wildlife sanctuary at Usgao-Ponda in Goa
My real photography of the wild animals, birds etc when had been to bondla wildlife sanctuary at Usgao, Ponda in goa. Its really one of the most beautiful & visited by tourist all over the season
The Bondla wild life sanctuary is a small Zoo cum sanctuary located in ponda taluka in Goa. It is located at about a 55 km drive from panjim city. The total area of the park is around 8 sq km which is very small compared to other wild life sanctuaries in the country. But nevertheless one can enjoy their time here as it includes a mini zoo, Deer safari Park, Formal gardens, Botanical Gardens and a few eco tourism cottages. It is a ideal location for kids, animal lovers & family. The zoo is located in lush green surroundings & quite picturesque especially during the rainy seasons when you can find lots of water streams running in the area with greenery all around. There are a variety of wild animal & bird species here like tigers, rhinos, Leopards, Jungle boars, jackals, crocs, snakes, wild cats & many more. The park is well maintained and peaceful, away from the city. The Nature Education Centre, exclusively set up here, imparts useful knowledge about the wildlife to its visitors by showcasing a number of exhibits, books and videos. There are jungle treks also arranged around here which passes through the woods situated here. The sanctuary provides exquisite experience to its visitiors. It is open from 9.00 am to 5.00 pm daily except Monday. There is parking facility & accommodation facilities provided here with all basic amenities.
