Collecting maple sap.
This is a thing, that we do every year. Many people say that maple sap is super healthy - and Google agrees.
Usually, you can start collecting maple sap as soon as it get's close to 0 degrees Celsius, and it's sunny outside. Sun probably is the most important thing. On a really sunny day, we can collect up to 5/6 litres a day. Last year, I started in February because it was rather warm. This year spring is quite cold so everything is set back a little bit.
Once we stop collecting sap from the maple tree, it's going to be time to drill some holes in the birch trees.

Very nice every spring we make a couple of gallons of maple syrup from our sugar bush. It is a great source of natural sugar. It take 40-50 gallons of sap to make 1 gallon of syrup.
Interesting. Very nice video.
