I'd like to think that Assange would be safer in the USA than in the UK. It would be better for the USA if Trump (not the DOJ) had jurisdiction over him. Given that the UK tried to install Hillary in the US, I believe he will probably fall into the wrong hands there. He might be safer in Russia or China.
