Haven't we pretty much reached consensus that solitary confinement is damaging to the psyche? Claiming someone deserves torture because of what they've done is pretty fucked up. They only have themselves to blame? That sounds like something an abusive spouse would say. Sure, maybe they might have access to contraband in a prison, but that doesn't mean they should have no contact with anyone. That's not healthy.
