Introduction

Welcome to the official Weekly Homesteading Newsletter (#WHN)! This newsletter will be released each Sunday with a detailed exposition of the previous week’s homesteading related articles.

Mission

The goal of the Weekly Homesteading Newsletter is to increase awareness and support of the Steemit homesteading community!

Submissions

In order to recommend articles for future WHN issues, the following guidelines must be adhered to:

To submit a recommendation, simply comment on the most recent WHN article (please include a link) or dm the author on SteemChat(@kiaraantonoviche) or Discord (kiaraantonoviche#2922). You may submit your own articles as well!

New additions to the WHN include:

Recommendation Reward - individuals who submit and/or recommend an article (that are ultimately included in the WHN as a featured article) will now be given a 0.1 SBD recommendation reward!

Author Upvote - all articles that are featured in the WHN will now receive a 100% upvote and all articles that are referenced in the WHN will receive at least a 10% upvote!

“Community Curation” section - a new section referencing additional homesteading curation initiatives and/or articles has been added!

“For Sale & Free” section - a new section referencing items for sale and/or for free has been added!

“Contests & Challenges” section - a new section referencing current homesteading contests & challenges has been added!

“Features” vs. “References” - all articles that are “featured” (which may include a paraphrased summary, analysis, or quote) will only be included with permission from the author. Any article that is “referenced” (simply mentioned and linked) will not need permission from the author as it does not include any of the author’s original content.

The WHN is looking for translators!
Inspired by @papa-pepper’s “Operation Translation,” I am looking for individuals fluent in both English and at least one other language in order to translate the content of the newsletter and make it available to a larger audience! Translators may keep any/all monetary reward the translated WHN article makes! Translators may NOT use Google Translate or remove/add any content from the newsletter! Translators must link back to the original WHN and give credit to the original author (@kiaraantonoviche) within their translated article! It is a big commitment, but I sincerely believe worth it.
