Colombia loves Steemit too! Steem's Whitepaper translation to spanish / ¡A los Colombianos también nos encanta Steemit! Traducción de la Guía Steem al español

Hello Steemit! I’m Valenttina and I was born in Colombia. It's my first publication and I want to tell my experience in Steemit. 

I knew about this social network a few days ago by a friend who also taught me the world of Bitcoin (I'm rookie) and if Bitcoin fascinated me, you can imagine how addicted I am to know more applications of blockchain like Steemit! It's crazy, and although it is still Beta and there are things to work on, the idea is revolutionary. I mean, a platform that for publishing valuable information for others pays you with cryptocurrency and your reward depends (among other things) on the quality of the content you share? How is that possible?! 

Well, I started surfing Steemit and I loved the concept (as most of you). Steemit is the almost perfect combination between cryptocurrency and social networks, which power we all know is of great magnitude. In this social network much of publications and stories reflect the effort of the authors to create good content. Today I want to join you and help the community growth. 

In my country, very little is known about cryptocurrency. Actually, when I talk about them people hardly believe me! However, social networks are widely used. Therefore, and in order to provide access to more people from my country and to spanish speakers to the cryptocurrency world through this social network where you can share original ideas and contribute to the community, I translated the Steem’s Whitepaper from English to Spanish. ¡Hola Steemit! Soy Valenttina y soy de Colombia. Es mi primera publicación y quiero contarles mi experiencia en Steemit. 

Conocí la red social hace unos días por un amigo que también me enseñó el mundo del Bitcoin (soy novata) y si el Bitcoin me fascinó, ¡ya se imaginarán lo adicta que estoy a saber más aplicaciones de la blockchain como Steemit! Es una locura, y aunque aún sea Beta y haya cosas en las que trabajar, la idea es revolucionaria. Es decir,  ¿una plataforma que por publicar información valiosa para otros te pague con criptomonedas y que tu recompensa dependa (entre otras cosas) de la calidad del contenido que compartes? ¡¿cómo es eso posible?! 

Bien, empecé a navegar en Steemit y me encantó el concepto (igual que a la mayoría de ustedes). Steemit es la casi perfecta combinación entre las criptodivisas y las redes sociales, cuyo poder todos sabemos es de gran magnitud. En ésta red social gran parte de las publicaciones e historias hacen notar el esfuerzo de ustedes, los autores, por crear buen contenido. Hoy quiero sumarme a ustedes y ayudar a que la comunidad crezca. 

En mi país, es muy poco lo que se sabe de las criptodivisas. ¡Es más, cuando hablo de ellas a duras penas me creen! Sin embargo, las redes sociales si son muy utilizadas. Por eso, y con el fin de dar acceso a más personas de mi país y de habla hispana al mundo de las criptomonedas a través de esta red social en donde se pueden compartir ideas originales y aportar de manera que se nutra la comunidad, traduje de inglés al español el “WhitePaper” de Steem.
