Your orchid is a beauty. I live in a sub tropical climate and I just tie my orchid gifts to my tree, and they seem to always be in bloom. They have even sprung some babies. I spray mine twice a week with water, other than that it feeds from the elements. Obviously, the climate suits them
Oh, hello @trendygran - thank you for your lovely comment...I wish I was in sub tropical climate...we still have snow here ! Can you imagine?? Just in the last few days we experienced a power cut for 2 days...cut off from the world we were...back to normal now...but it wasn't nice at all...we survived :)
Ah I can't imagine how miserable you must have felt. Summer in our climate is a killer because of the humidity, it is like living in an oven. Once those months have passed we are blessed with fantastic weather. Right now it is Autumn. We don't experience the beauty of the changing of the seasons but lots of other signs are about.
