The White House Under Trump is becoming shady
The White house blocking video coverage of the weekly press briefing, is a sign of its increasingly less transparent behaviour. Behaviour like this, creates the impression that the Trump administration has something to hide. What exactly is the motive for this action ? What next will follow ? Delayed audio feeds ? Or feeds being released the next day ?
The USA, is a beacon of hope for many countries where democracy does not work. SO when a country that has being patterned, land of the free displays such abominable behaviour, why then should the USA have the moral authority to query a North Korea or Iran ? Americans must stand up and insist on transparency for the media. Once the media is cowed, tyranny will take over. President Trump needs to revamp his media team.
You may wonder, what does this have to do with cryptocurrencies and business in particular. Commerce does not thrive when divisive politics thrive, as is increasingly becoming the norm in America. If the government and legislature do not embrace transparency, poor corporate governance will be let loose.
He's not in control of anything yet, the deeper state is. The pool of reporters are the abominable joke. Who gives a sh*t about those briefings at this point anyway?
Steps like that shield transparency. If press briefings are now hidden, who knows what else is being kept as secrets in the White House.
Its a shame transparency isn't a law that must be complied with. There is no transparency and never has there been such. There are far more secrets than public release. We've still got the FOIA at least...and even that is not full transparency.
