The five most expensive Whiskies (0.7l) of all times

After learning so much about whisky in our last posts we wanted to show you how much the five most expensive whiskies costed. 

**You will see that the limited supply of a whisky is a very bullish factor. Whiskies only get precious when there is a limited supply.**

No. 5 - Bowmore 1957 ( 54 years old) for $ 109,000

In Decembre 2012 an American bought this bottle. Only 11 were produced. The money was used for a good cause.

No. 4 - Karuizawa (62 years old) for $ 115,000

Last year someone bought the Karuizawa 62 years old from Japan for around 115,000 US-Dollars.

No. 3 - Dalmore Trinitas (64 years old) for $ 126,000

Only three bottles of the Dalmore Trinitas 64 were produced. In 2010 they sold one of them for 126,000 US-Dollars. 

No. 2 - Dalmore Trinitas (64 years old) for $ 150,000

Another one of the three Dalmore Trinitas bottles was sold for around 150,000 US-Dollars in 2011 in London. 

No. 1 - Dalmore (62 years old) for  $ 160,000

The Dalmore 62, a blended whisky, was sold in 2011 for around 160,000 US-Dollars. This makes it the most expensive whisky of all times. There were only 11 bottles since 1943.
