The Diary Game Post 8 - Tuesday, 30th June 2020

Good day steemians. You are welcome to my blog, as this is my 8th diary post this season, as the 100 days of steem is gradually rounding up.

I woke up around 5:40am today, and the first thing as usual, my wife and I had our morning devotion and prayers, after which I put on my computer to check for any update on steem and especially on @steemitblog's Monday Challenge. I saw that the challenge for this Monday is a very interesting one, and I got to work immediately. On Tuesdays, I do not have much to do in my office, So I may decide whether or not to go. If I have to go, I do not have to rush. This is why I could start looking for diary game posts early in the morning today, so that I could drop comments on them.

I was on the computer till around 9:20am, when I decided to go have my bath and go to the office for a minor assignment I had to do. I had rice with chicken stew for breakfast, and I dashed out for the office. I walked to the bus stop (about 13 minutes walk), where I took a cab to the office.

Whenever I am in the office, I am able to concentrate on my work online, compared to being at home, where my wife might want to gist, or I could find an interesting show on TV, which will distract me. This is why I decided to stay in the office, even when I had completed my mission there. I also ran an errand for my unit head, when I was asked to go and make a cheque deposit in the bank. It was my first visit to any banking hall since the outbreak of covid-19. I was however glad that the queue in the bank was not as much as I thought it would be. I completed my transaction and headed back to the office. In the office, I had bread with fried egg for lunch. This was accompanied by a chilled bottle of Pepsi.

When It was 4:00pm, I packed my stuff and left for home. I however stopped at my usual Supermarket to get some vital items needed at home. We needed some toilet soaps, liquid soap for the dishes and a insecticide, specifically for combating mosquitoes. My wife also requested for oats, and for some days now, she has been having Yogurt cravings, so I decided to get two small yogurt sizes. This is not a major shopping, it was just a quick response to replace those items that we have already exhausted.

The total cost of this shopping is N4,421 (Nigerian naira), which when converted, is just about $10. That is about 10 SBD, or 49.26 steem.

From the mall, I took a cab home, where I spent the rest of the day gisting and playing Ludo with my wife. She beat me in 2 sets while I beat her once today. lol. We had beans with maize for dinner. It was a good day, and it is a wonderful way to end the month of June. Looking forward to what July holds.

I am so excited for SPUD (Steem Power Up Day), and I have decided to take part in the July 1 edition. I am proud of myself for the dedication I have put into it, and I am hoping to win one of the prizes this time.
