Oh sunflower
I looked at the expanse as far as the eye could see
Only the flower stalk I saw
The color dragged me to sip the past
Shading the light on which the heart rests
These are the wounds we deny
Smiling as if happiness as big as a mountain awaits at the end of the hole
Forcing eyes to see sunlight
Until blind closes the world
We are immature until we get hurt
Mistaking each other even though they are reluctant to part
Sunflowers that we plant in the corner of the house
Become a witness that we have been swallowed up in darkness
God never does nothing
Fate always tampers with our stories
Just a piece of the story that will not be touched
When always we boast of patience
