Description:
Digital Media can be many things. The widest definition being that it is simply any medium that is digital. Since a medium is anything that is used to communicate a message from one person to another, thus by the wide definition Computers, TV, Telephones all may be digital media. A better definition is the Marketing definition that has 3 technical requirements for something to be categorized as a Digital Medium: 1) The medium should enable broadcasting of message to a lot of people 2) The receiver of the message must have the ability to respond in some way 3) The receivers should be able to communicate with each other and form groups on the medium. By this definition Social media, Blogs, Websites all may be included in Digital Media.
