Try different points of view
I thought for this post I would highlight when out taking photos whether with a cell phone, point and shoot or a DSLR you can find more interesting photos to share by changing your point of view when shooting
I.e. Don't just see something and snap a shot and move on
Move around and look for other angles or perspectives that could make for a shot that is different from the norm
Here is a shot in a little park of our city hall with some spring colors
It's a new very enough shot but I moved around and got a shot with the statue in view (admittedly this was in another day in another season which you probably noticed)
I liked this as well but it's one I have seen taken many times by others in the area
Then I had an idea for something different and came up with this shot
Which is one I really like
All photos taken by me using a Sony A6000 or A6590 mirrorless camera
Nice shots! This is my hometown! To the right of city hall there is a little brunch restaurant on River Street called "The Corner"... I highly recommend giving it a try if you haven't already! Best food in town IMO. Cheers! Great to see other Milford folks on here
OHh yes we used to go to the Corner very often best breakfast in town for me, due to diet restrictions for my wife do not eat out much at all those days but do miss there food
great to meet another person from here :)
if you ever catch the train from Milford you may have seen a couple of my photos there
I sometimes take the train to the city... Are they the photos on the posting boards at the station?
Yeah three of those are mine was so cool they picked them :)
Very coool! That's awesome. Next time I go down there I will definitely take a better look. Flying back to CT in just a few minutes!
Have a safe flight and a good weekend
i need do more traveling
Many years ago I said that and with time it happened so lets hope one day you will :)
Very nice! I tend to use the spray-and-pray method of photography myself, getting many shots from many different angles hoping that a handful turn out well :P Usually don't think of clever shots like that last one though.
Thats my style as well a lot of times may take shots from 50 different angles but only ever edit and share one or to of them
But over the last year I have found myself better and looking for different perspectives
beautifully shot
Thanks :)
great photos!
Thanks Shaun
That is very nice work and a good reminder for us all not to be lazy but to work that shot! I am looking at the a6500, but I do a fair amount of video and I hear they are still having some issues with overheating...but the pics look so nice! I might go for a 80d...I guess half the fun is in the looking!
Thanks, yes I still see posts about the over heating being an issue for some users, others not, but if I was doing a lot of video I would be concerned for sure but primarily I do photos, for me the size is the big plus I had leg problems and carrying my pentax which was so much heavier so I got a 5000 to use just for taking into the city but loved it and ended up selling the pentax, and loving the 6500 for what I do
Look like you got a good day and beautiful photos...love it blue sky and statue👍🏻..good work 👍🏻
Thanks Julee :)
I love taking shots from different perspectives, well done! Resteemed!
