Belvedere Castle
Is a cool little castle with such a cool character and feel to it and its also a nice stop in the park with nice views in a few directions
It was originally designed by Calvert Vaux and Jacob Wrey Mould to b a folly Structure to provide a nice backdrop and cool views
In 1919 that all changed when the weather service began taking measurements from the Castle's Tower, by 1983 the castle was quite run down and was refurbished and renovated and it now serves as the Henre Luce Nature Observatory.
Inside it has a variety of Natural history artifacts such as Skeletons and Paper Mache Birds

Awesome shots. I wish we lived in castles today, and not in these flaky wooden houses that vibrate every time the wind starts blowing.
For sure times ahave changed and quality gone down hill
I miss New York! Lived there from 88 to 99

I used it some when it first started, like the notifications, I have to try it out :)
I use it mostly because I have issues with my spine and can’t sit much on my laptop to reply to comments or to create articles. I also find this app helpful to get notifications. Good luck with it.
They randomly do when you comment on eSteem. Not every comment get it.

You learn how to hate and love and hate and love it all over again 🤣😳 “ Interesting” is for sure too harmless for that charismatic town of madness fell in love with .....forever. I lived on 448 W37th and had my best years I could say.
I never lived in Manhattan I’m still a Kiwi country boy at heart lived in Queens then Jersey City and now in CT
Mind you for the time in queens I was out traveling to missions in average 3 to 6 months a year
That area where you lived has changed a lot over recent years lots of new developments
Hell’s Kitchen was epic at those days and quite scary to go home at night with too many crackheads. The building was an old factory and now you can’t even afford to live there anymore
Indeed it’s become very unusual scale was there just a couple of weeks ago and surprised how it’s still changing

Its in the middle of the park near 80th Street a spot often missed when walking through parts of the park :)
