Very well written and you touched a lot of subjects that are still ongoing.
I would like to see a conclusion at the end. Something like: we brought them some good Ideas but we are never sure if they were better off if we never conquered them. But thats subjectiv so maybe you left it out to leave your readers with something to think about.
