Fighting With My Food - FoodPorn

A date at "Kung Fu Kitchen" left me fighting for my life ....................... just kidding

Went out with a few friends for dinner at Cannington, to try the restaurant that specializes in Szechuan Food.

Now from my knowledge of watching thousands of dramas (TV could lie, so I don’t know if this is true or not) Szechuan food is strong in flavor and spicy.

I think, nooooooo I know this is true.

Just look at this dish, it’s so red and OMG look at all the chillies.

But the real killer is the peppercorn. I mean if it’s crushed fine pepper it probably won’t be as bad, but it’s actually whole.

Every bit you take, you will be a victim of the spice, you can’t avoid your fate.

“Spicy Szechuan Beef” is the dish but beware and prepare tissues, cause I’m not going to lie.

I look freaking disgusting eating this, nose dripping everywhere ……… trust me it wasn’t a pretty sight hahahaha

This one is “Braised Beef Tongue”, sounds gross right.

I was a bit iffy when my friends order this dish, it kinda freaked me out hahahha. Looking at the texture of the cut, I was really reluctant to eat it.

But hey I was hungry, and a girls got to do ,what a girls got to do .

So I closed my eyes and just ate it hahahaha.

It was alright, nothing I would order again.

Because ..... now that I think about it, I’m starting to feel gross about myself hahahaha.

And the last dish which was my favourite, “Kai - Lan Vegetable in Oyster Sauce”.

It wasn’t anything special but it was there, in my time of need when life got a little bit to spicy hahahaha.

There it is guys, I reckon it’s a good place to try out during winter or when you have a cold/flu and you need to sweat it out.

Definitely a good place for you ^^
