Steemit change my Perspective

Right before now, I used to see social media like a tool used for time wastage because its all about you showing people the way you feel, what you are up to and post fantastic photos. When social media started gaining popularity a lot of us were so into it because its kind of FUN, but after a while I got bored about the whole thing but a time came when I realise that there is more to social media than just playing around on it, so that brings me to information which I later realise that there are vast information on social media than I thought. One of my senior then will always say that there are a lot of useful tools found in the social media than just posting comment, uploading selfies and there about, and ever since then my mindset changed. I have used social media for a lot of gains for myself(Knowledge wise) and its really great. Now with steemit, its just another level, because it connects you to a lot of people and great things, you get to learn from people through there articles and you share thoughts, reasoning and its uniting. Honestly steemit is a great platform for socialising and that's why it is called the social media. In my own conclusion I think steemit is not just a social media but also a bank of useful information for self consumption.
