The It Girls Blog- Story Time

in #wellsfargo7 years ago (edited)

Ah, the story I have been dying to tell.

I worked for Wells Fargo at one point in my life, but left due to me moving states. This was a huge change, but one that was worth it. During my year away from the company, I did a variety of things from working as an Inventory and Marketing Specialist for a local tire shop to doing Business Consulting for an Electric company. The thing about this though, was that I was not satisfied with my career choices. It was Black Friday, and while everyone and their families were out shopping, I was picking up my last paycheck as a Business Consultant. The Manager, lets call her Miss Haggis, who was also supposed to be the Human Resources for this company had laid me off and said "It is because you made friends with the girl I was trying to fire so its easier to let you both go."

She even had the nerve to smile.

Snarling Cunt.

Anyways, thankfully I manage money quite well and was able to save a few months worth of rent. It was this time that I chose to go back to Wells Fargo. I applied for a Teller position all over again. The fear of sales had played over and over again in my head, but then I remembered one thing; I am an ethical person. Or at least I thought I was. So, about a month after I had applied to Wells Fargo again, I got an interview. I drove 4 HOURS to this interview because it was a make or break for me. We were running low on funds and feared the worst would happen. So I made it to my interview 30 minutes early. In the interview, they asked why I did the commute. My reasoning was simple. I am a Mom. Moms will do anything and everything to make sure our families are safe and fed well.
February 8th, 2015, I received a call that would change me for the rest of this blog. I was hired by Wells Fargo again, and this time, it will be hectic and messy.
